Self Care Resources during Covid
During this extraordinary time it's crucial that we carve out space to nurture ourselves. Lately I've been drawn to energetic healing methods. Jin Shin Jyutsu is a method I discovered through Tanya Kamens, a wonderful massage therapist in Manhattan. In normal times you can go to an expert for a session in that modality, but you can also work on yourself in a way that may seem deceptively simple, but which I find very powerful. I have been using Health is in Your Hands, by Waltraud Riegger-Krause, from Upper West Side Philosophers, Inc. This combines a small paperback book with a set of cards.
